William C. Kershner is a certified commercial flight instructor and an airline transport pilot. He has flown 22 types of airplanes and has logged more than 10,000 flight hours. He lives near Sewanee, Tennessee. William K. Kershner was a certified flight instructor, a naval aviator, and a corporate pilot. The recipient of many aviation awards, including the General Aviation Flight Instructor of the Year and an induction into the Flight Instructor Hall of Fame, he is the author of the Flight Manuals series.

Actually fun to read!

I am a CFI student, and I must say that Kershner's style is so much more appealing than the FAA's (although you still have to know the FAA material). This is a very practical book, as Kershner helps you get inside the student's mind and gives you strategies on how to conduct your training accordingly. The illustrations are great (all done by the author himself, I believe) and many of them are very humorous. I find myself chuckling and laughing out loud each chapter. A very useful book, and I know I'm going to be referring back to it often when I start teaching for real.

Absolutely amazing book.
I left a review on good reads for this book and it still stands. One the few books on wattpad I really enjoyed. The characters were reaslitic teenagers and the whole book wasn't just some sex crazed story. It had an interesting plot and some unexpected twists. Highly recommend it!

For a beginning nursing student, like myself, the book was AMAZING! My college requires us to take Kaplan exams for each class to judge our level of understanding and this strategy guide helped me understand exactly what each question was asking and how to weed out the "fluff". I seriously can't say enough positive things about this guide. I passed my first semester exams with flying colors with these strategies in mind. If you need help or just aren't understanding what your professors exam questions are asking...seriously buy this.

Mauricio recuerda el cambio fructífero que tiene su familia cuando se mudan todos a Estados Unidos, apenas de adolescente, dejando atrás los fantasmas del pasado en Perú; pero se dará cuenta de que, ya de adulto y después de vivir muchos años en Estados Unidos, tendría otra lucha constante: su identidad.

Must-have for music students.

These anthologies are breathtakingly expensive, but they are important to any music education because they are thoroughly comprehensive. Rather than provide a history of music, these recordings explain principles and ideas in a concrete way and present examples.

I did not always adore the layout of the chapters, but this book is absolutely a great buy for History of Western Art Music courses or just for a resource. Having the matching textbook works great for the examples listed throughout that text. I was able to sell my bookstore copy of both materials to Amazon. I do wish the offered price for selling these was a tad greater considering what I paid, but it's better than these sitting on my shelf collecting dust.

With reference to controversial comments about September 11 made by Prime Minister Chretien and others and the debate about "anti-Americanism," Roach examines whether September 11 has chilled Canadian democracy. He also examines the challenge September 11 presents for Canadian sovereignty on key components of foreign, military, and immigration policy and the possibility that Canadian Forces participated in violations of international law in Afghanistan. With specific reference to the threat of nuclear and biological terrorism and aviation safety, Roach argues that more emphasis on administrative and technological measures and less emphasis on criminal sanctions and military force may better protect Canadians from both terrorism and other threats to their security.
